In November 2016 the Portfolio Committee on Labour agreed on passing a bill that proposes landmark changes in South Africa’s parental leave framework. Sonke has been conducting consistent advocacy towards this for the past four years. Here’s why the new bill is good news for children, mothers and fathers.
