Spha, as Siphamandla is known to us, was in born Cape Town and completed his schooling at Usasazu High School in 2007. He joined Sonke in 2013 as a community action team member, where he did condom distribution, community mobilisation and IEC talks in clinics and the community. He also worked in schools doing training on sexual and reproductive health and community mapping. Spha joined Sonke on 1 April 2017 as a Junior trainer for the GAP Year project. Spha has a passion for working with young people to assist in bringing about behaviour change.
