MenEngage publishes paper on youth perspectives on work with boys and men

Here’s sharing with you a synthesis paper of a session on “Youth Perspectives on Work with Boys and Men’, held during the 2nd MenEngage Global Symposium 2014 – Men and Boys for Gender Equality. The panel session was moderated by MenEngage Africa‘s manager, Itumeleng Komanyane, who said of the diverse panel: “You are looking at a group of young activist who are working at the national level and also globally”.

The panellists highlighted a range of issues, including the need to legitimise youth voices from grassroots, the need to support youth-led organisations and to expand spaces for decision-making by the youth.
