Sonke Gender Justice together with Scalabrini Centre, MSAT, City of Cape Town and SAFA Nyanga LFA under the Unite As One Campaign hosted a 4-day Soccer Tournament Festival in Nyanga during the week of 25 to 28 September 2012 in celebration of Heritage Day.
The Unite As One Campaign aims to create a South African society in which people notwithstanding their language or country of origin, respect each other and live together peacefully.
Sonke is a South African-based non-profit organisation working throughout Africa. We believe women and men, girls and boys can work together to resist patriarchy, advocate for gender justice and achieve gender transformation.
