Fredalene Booysen is Sonke’s Western Cape Community Education and Mobilization Unit Manager. Fredalene is a passionate development practitioner with more than twenty years of progressive senior management and organizational development experience in the non-profit sector. Her career has taken her on a journey of lifelong learning. Prior to joining Sonke, she was working for the Treatment Action Campaign as the National Campaigns Manager. She brings to the CEM Unit enormous and needed skills on primary prevention of HIV and AIDS, GBV prevention, including various rich community mobilization strategies; especially on building the CAT movement within Sonke.
Fredalene is currently in her final year of her Master’s in Education with the University of Cape Town.
