Hlekani Sibuyi was the Tsima / Treatment as Prevention Coordinator and is based in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga. He has a passion for working with communities where he worked in the social welfare sector for almost fifteen years. Hlekani has worked for different organisations such as Lifeline, the SOS Children’s Village and LoveLife, focussing on the empowerment and wellbeing of children, youth services and the mobilisation of communities in general. He conducted a few study baselines and assisted in the analysis of formative research projects amongst his many areas of expertise.
He holds a BA (Human and Social Studies) degree from the University of South Africa; specialising in Community Development; and he’s currently studying for his honours degree in Public Management with the Tshwane University of Technology.
