Originally from the beautiful state of Utah, Jeff completed an internship with the Children’s Rights and Positive Parenting Portfolio at Sonke. After completing a bachelors degree at the University of Utah, Jeff spent a few years working with various NGO’s in Utah, including being a caseworker for incoming refugees.
In August 2014, Jeff, along with his wife Melissa and 6 week old son Noah, moved to Virginia. Jeff is a candidate for an M.A in Conflict Transformation from The Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at Eastern Mennonite University.
His passion for engaging men in gender equitable and non-violent fatherhood has stemmed from his new experience of being a father, and from his interest in understanding how violence can be rooted in hegemonic masculinities and non-equitable households.
