Kaisa Huhtela worked as an intern for Refugee Health and Rights project Unit of Sonke Gender Justice while carrying out research as an affiliated Master student at the University of Western Cape. This study was conducted as part of NOHA Masters in Humanitarian Action Programme at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, and will form part of a Masters thesis.
Sonke is a South African-based non-profit organisation working throughout Africa. We believe women and men, girls and boys can work together to resist patriarchy, advocate for gender justice and achieve gender transformation.
