Kathleen joined Sonke in professional capacity for a 5 month internship. She came to us from Canada where she was the Campaign Director of a national campaign to end Violence Against Women, Director of Development & Engagement Specialist with the Canadian Women’s Foundation.
Kathleen brought to us skills in campaign management, fundraising, senior volunteer management, critical and strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement. She has a passion for activism, women’s issues, and civic engagement.
Kathleen’s internship was with the CEM Team and her term was shared between Prison’s and RHR. She also participated on AWETHU! and assisted with special projects.
