Rebecca Gore

PDA Intern

Rebecca is originally from Johannesburg. She moved to Cape Town for her undergraduate studies in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE), and has stayed on to complete her Honours degree in Justice and Transformation. She plans on beginning her Law degree next year at the University of Cape Town. For her Honours Thesis she focused on the challenges faced by prisoners in post-Apartheid prisons with regards to HIV/AIDS.

Rebecca is extremely interested in human rights, social justice and gender equality and is excited to do further work on prisons as an intern in Sonke’s PDA Unit.
