Shanley holds a Master of Public Administration degree, Honours in Public Administration degree and an Advanced Diploma in Management. Shanley has over 12 years of experience within the Provincial and National Governments more specifically experience in human resources, finance, supply chain management, project support, budgeting and decision making, compliance with legislative requirements and the development and performance management of people and teams.
Shanley worked for the Parliamentary Monitoring Group as a Parliamentary Monitor. His responsibilities included the drafting of formal written reports at the Parliament of South Africa for oversight committees, undertaking research projects on policy briefs and legislative processes, collecting, critically analysing and interpreting quantitative/ qualitative data.
In his spare time, Shanley enjoys spending time with his wife and children, and dancing.
