Sonke Gender Justice, through the Inkanyezi Project, hosted a Policy Dialogue on the National Strategic Plan on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide on the 4th of December 2024, in partnership with the Mpumalanga Office of the Premier, Independent Electoral Commission, the Commission for Gender Equality, and the Commission for Human Rights and other stakeholders.
The purpose of the dialogue was to engage the community on the effectiveness of the strategic plan and to explore the various instruments available to protect the rights of women.
