Sonke launched the Inkanyezi project booklet, which is a snapshot of the gains made in the project, in Mpumalanga in August 2025. The document also profiles some of its participants, who reflect on their motivation for pursuing a life dedicated to advocating for gender equality.
Implemented in Eastern Cape and Mpumalanga, the project empowers women to meaningfully participate in political, traditional, and religious spaces, while addressing harmful norms through community dialogues, training, and advocacy.
