Sexual Offences Courts: National Strategic Plan Draft

It is hereby certified that this Sexual Offences Courts: National Strategic Plan was developed by the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development. This was under the guidance of the Intersectoral Committee on the Management of Sexual Offences, normally referred to as the DG ISC_SO, which is chaired by the Director-General of the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development. This document takes into account the relevant policies, legislation and other mandates of the stakeholder departments/institutions within Justice, Crime Prevention and Security (JCPS) cluster. It accurately reflects Delivery Agreement of the JCPS cluster: Outcome 3 which is to ensure that “All are and feel safe” as well as other International, Regional and Sub-Regional goals aimed at the prevention of sexual offences. This Sexual Offences Courts: National Strategic Plan will be developed for the period of five (5) years from 2016/2017 – 2020/2021 financial years.
