Today Sonke Gender Justice’s International Programmes & Network Manager, Itumeleng Komanyane, will be presenting at the 6th Annual Women In Politics Africa event happening in Johannesburg.
Itumeleng will be presenting on closing the gender gap in Africa through the African Union Agenda 2063.
The event is aimed at advancing and empowering more women to lead and revolutionise politics on the African continent.
Sonke is a South African-based non-profit organisation working throughout Africa. We believe women and men, girls and boys can work together to resist patriarchy, advocate for gender justice and achieve gender transformation.
