Elzaan Kemp is a seasoned Community Mobilizer, Peer Educator, and Trainer with over 15 years of experience in HIV/AIDS, ARV, and TB counseling. With a strong background in adult education and community development, Elzaan has played a pivotal role in establishing key healthcare initiatives, including the prenatal HIV clinic at Tygerberg Hospital and the ARV clinic at Bishop Lavis Day Hospital.
As a skilled trainer and educator, Elzaan has provided onsite training to numerous student nurses and professional nurses at various ARV sites, while also managing ARV clubs at Bishop Lavis Day Hospital. Additionally, Elzaan has collaborated with international research teams, facilitating patient recruitment for studies focused on HIV/AIDS.
With a deep passion for promoting human rights, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community, Elzaan continues to advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
