Zithulele Dlakavu currently works for Sonke Gender Justice implementing One Man Can activities around South Africa. He implements OMC work with Community Radio Stations and works closely with Thuthuzela Care Centres.
He has performed in a number of critically acclaimed plays including Diaries of my Womanhood and Echoes of Our Footsteps which premiered at the Grahamstown Arts Festival. He has directed plays addressing gender equality, cervical cancer, termination of pregnancy and on water scarcity and strategies for saving it. He has also worked with the Center for Digital Storytelling to produce a short documentary examining notions of masculinity and fatherhood.
