Engaging Men and boys in the fight against and prevention of GBV

Gender-based violence remains an urgent and persistent global issue, deeply rooted in unequal power dynamics and social norms, affecting individuals across a broad spectrum of intersecting identities such as race, class, gender, sexuality, and ability. Sonke’s Regional Policy and Advocacy Coordinator Rumbi Chidoori speaks to the Voice of Cape on the importance of engaging men and boys in the conversation.
