Religion, Gender, Sexuality Workshop – 1

Sonke Gender Justice, MenEngage Africa, the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) and the Wits Centre for Diversity Studies have brought together faith leaders and activists from all over Africa to participate in a five-day skills building and co-learning workshop in Johannesburg from 1 June – 5 June 2015 to discuss “Religion, Gender and Sexuality”. Sonke’s Communications Associate, Khopotso Bodibe, asked them about the importance of this convening to discuss gender and sexuality in the context of religion.
