Sonke received a prestigious runner-up award in the Mail & Guardian 2012 Investing in the Future Awards for our One Man Can Campaign, working with men and boys to prevent and respond to gender-based violence and HIV/AIDS in their communities.
Sonke is a South African-based non-profit organisation working throughout Africa. We believe women and men, girls and boys can work together to resist patriarchy, advocate for gender justice and achieve gender transformation.
