Under the auspices of The UCLA Bixby Program in Population & Reproductive Health, Sonke’s Policy Development and Advocacy Specialist Emily Keehn will be presenting a lecture on South Africa’s legal and policy landscape, focusing on the intersections between gender, sexual violence and HIV, and how Sonke’s work has addressed these.
Sonke is a South African-based non-profit organisation working throughout Africa. We believe women and men, girls and boys can work together to resist patriarchy, advocate for gender justice and achieve gender transformation.
