Saturday 8 March is International Women’s Day and a Sonke Gender Justice delegation will be on their way to New York to participate in the United Nation’s 58th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). We hope that those of you in New York will attend the events next week where members of our delegation will be speaking. Here’s the schedule.
Sonke is a South African-based non-profit organisation working throughout Africa. We believe women and men, girls and boys can work together to resist patriarchy, advocate for gender justice and achieve gender transformation.
