Sonke’s Rukia Cornelius, Desmond Lesejane and Dean Peacock were in Beirut, Lebanon this week, with ABAAD Resource Center for Gender Equality, discussing the work of mobilising youth, women and men to end violence and harmful masculinities and recognise LGBTIQ Rights. Abaad seeks to promote sustainable social and economic development in the MENA region through equality, protection and empowerment of marginalised groups, especially women.
