The Coalition of African Lesbians (CAL) publishes a press statement from the South African National AIDS Council (SANAC) Civil Society Sectors and human rights organisations, including Sonke. The statement calls on the South African Government to halt the deportation of Dr. Paul Semugoma to Zimbabwe or Uganda and to release him immediately.
Sonke is a South African-based non-profit organisation working throughout Africa. We believe women and men, girls and boys can work together to resist patriarchy, advocate for gender justice and achieve gender transformation.
