Anelisa Zono also known as “Lisa Zono” is a business woman, an activist that advocates for change and issues of Gender Based Violence. She is a former news & current affairs radio presenter who is also an allround philanthropist. 2021-2022 She participated in a debate for the State of the Nation Address delivered by President Cyril Ramaphosa by GCIS Eastern Cape.

As a child, Lisa has tenderly pursued her passion for business and creativity. She thus far has started an initiative called the Eastern Cape Hustlers Awards, with an aim to eradicate poverty and create a space for development allocated specifically for the unsung heroes who are hustling everyday to put food on the table for their loved ones as she believes poverty is the root cause of social ills and Gender Based Violence.
