Advocate Lerato Caroline Khutlang, a seasoned legal professional admitted to the Courts of Law in Lesotho, specializes in International Human Rights Law. With an Honours Degree in Law from the National University of Lesotho, she boasts over 5 years of experience championing the rights of marginalized groups and providing capacity building across various sectors. Her expertise in gender-based violence prevention, post-legal-care services, and data analysis makes her a formidable force in advocating for justice. A distinguished litigant, she has advised the Constitutional Court of Lesotho as an amicus curiae. Beyond her legal prowess, Lerato is an accomplished public speaker and aspiring author, fuelled by a burning interest in artificial intelligence. Her goal is to develop software aimed at responding to gender-based violence and domestic violence perpetrated against cishet women, adolescent girls, youth and members of the LGBTQI + communities. Her Motto is, “Go big or go home.”
