Nthakoana Takalimane

RMEL Intern

Nthakoana holds a degree in Economics with a minor in Statistics from the National University of Lesotho. Her work experience includes roles as a data collector for the Ministry of Health and a data clerk at Thamae Health Center. She recently completed an administrative internship at Baylor – Karabo ea Bophelo, which she obtained through their support for Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) programs under the DREAMS initiative. As someone who has personally benefited from programs aimed at empowering young women, Nthakoana is passionate about ensuring that young women have the power to make informed choices and access to opportunities that improve their lives. She believes in creating spaces where women and children can thrive free from inequality and societal pressures. Outside of work, she loves reading, watching movies and vlogs on YouTube, and browsing Pinterest for interior design inspiration.
