Rodney joined Sonke as a Community Mobiliser for LUX-Unilever Funded project focusing on Everyday Sexism (ES).
Rodney is a former One Man Can and Tsima RCTs as a Community Mobiliser; these two 3-year studies were implemented between 2012 and 2018 respectively. He is a seasoned facilitator of GBV & HIV prevention approaches and he also worked with and led two Community Action Teams. Before joining Sonke, Rodney was working as a Youth Care Club Facilitator at Anova Health Institute. Here he provided health support to young women and girls. The program was focused on HIV/AIDS prevention, SRHR and Human Rights.
Rodney has a diploma in Office Computing and a Certificate in Primary School Teachers Development Programme (HIV/AIDS) and attended many Sonke-led trainings.
