Possessing a strong passion for numbers, Onah’s journey began at the Bulawayo City Council as an Investment and Reconciliation intern. After her undergraduate studies she worked in the credit analyst unit at a Microfinance Institution in Zimbabwe for a year as well as in academia as an Adjunct lecturer in the Finance Department of Solusi University in Zimbabwe. She then joined Sonke from May 2016 to March 2017 as an RM&E intern then moved to the RM&E data capturing portfolio in April 2017.
She holds a Master of Science in Finance and Investments (NUST) and Bcom Honours in Banking (NUST). In line with her qualifications, she is a member of the South African Institute of Financial Markets as well as the Institute of Credit Management of South Africa.
