Yusuf Mustaf Hussein

Yusuf hails from Somalia where he was the youngest of five brothers. He was the only one of his brothers to attend school but had to flee to South Africa because of civil wars in his home country. Yusuf eventually met up with Sonke where he attended workshops and training sessions. He became a refugee counsellor and is now a community mobiliser for Sonke. Yusuf loves studying the Quran and hopes to learn and develop himself to improve the lives of others.
