#AIDS2016: What Do We Need To Do To Get To Zero?

“Getting to zero: end AIDS by 2030” has been one of the catch-phrases at the 21st International AIDS Conference, held in Durban from 18-22 July 2016.

First suggested by the World Health Organisation (WHO) on World AIDS Day, December 1st 2015, it placed the spotlight on expanding antiretroviral therapy to all people living with HIV. This says WHO is the key to ending the AIDS epidemic within a generation.

But is anti-retroviral therapy the only answer to ending AIDS by 2030? Is ending AIDS even a possibility? Sonke Gender Justice asked delegates at the 21st International AIDS conference: what do they think needs to be done to end AIDS by 2030? Click on the images below to read more.
