Adolescent girls and boys are the future of South Africa and yet they are the most HIV-affected group in SA, especially young girls. The GAP Year Programme is designed to positively influence the skills and life trajectory of adolescent girls (and boys) in their schools and communities.
Sonke is a South African-based non-profit organisation working throughout Africa. We believe women and men, girls and boys can work together to resist patriarchy, advocate for gender justice and achieve gender transformation.
