Sonke’s USAID khutlo Activity implemented in Lesotho celebrated International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT) on the 18 May 2024 in Maseru, supported by partner Matrix.
IDAHOBIT Day is a global initiative that is set aside to raise awareness about discrimination, violence and challenges faced by the LGBTQI+ community. This event, which was marked under the theme “no one left behind: equality, freedom and justice for All”, mobilized queer community and other stakeholders to raise awareness and strengthen advocacy in Lesotho.
